Beach Volleyball Camps

COACHES:

Renee Risselada went to William Aberhart High School and played at Mount Royal University.  In the summer, she played on the Volleyball Alberta beach circuit, ranking in the top 3 in Alberta and top 5 at Nationals.  She played in two NORCECA internationals events in Jamaica and Mexico, two country quota FIVB events in Italy and Switzerland and trained with the Canadian Olympic beach team.  A multi-sport athlete, Renee also competed on the University of Calgary track and field team. 

Bryan Risselada played indoor volleyball at Edmonton Christian High School and then went on to play for NAIT (ACAC) and University of Regina (USport).  He competed with the Canadian Master’s Team in Atlanta (2009) and in the summer,  played for two decades on the Volleyball Alberta beach circuit (2000-2020).

CAMP FOCUS

Limitless is excited to partner with Ravens Volleyball Club to put on a camp focused on introducing athletes to beach volleyball and helping prepare them for the upcoming beach season. This camp will help athletes understand some of the nuances that are different from indoor volleyball and make it unique and awesome. Also, athletes will get a chance to work on basic skills, learn some strategy and experience some game play. Athletes of all skill levels and experience are welcome.

Grades 7-9 (U13-U15) Athletes
